Born and raised in Hamburg, my journey into the world of professional photography began after completing high school in Schleswig-Holstein and two years of civil service at ISB. I trained under the legendary photographer F.C. Gundlach at Hamburg’s PPS Studios, mastering the art of photography in both the studio and professional laboratory settings.

Soon as a freelance assistant, I collaborated with internationally renowned photographers across Paris, New York, and London, honing my skills in some of the most dynamic creative hubs. Working with masters like Horst P. Horst, Sheila Metzner, Sebastião Salgado ( just to name a few) taught me the importance of light, texture, and composition. Having trained with analog photography under those legends, my lighting, black& white skills, the sensible use of color and careful composition certainly is a result of those early years.

For over three decades, I have specialized in crafting world-class People, Beauty, Well-Being, and Fashion campaigns. Based out of Milan and Barcelona, I have led worldwide productions for some of the most recognized national and international brands and publications, including L’Oréal, Vidal Sassoon, Procter & Gamble, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Mondadori, Hearst U.K., and Conde Nast.

Whether delivering stunning editorial visuals or orchestrating complex advertising shoot, my focus remains on combining artistic vision with flawless production for a global clientele.
